Yeah, I won. 50, 3something words.
Now comes the fun part--REWRITING!
I'm currently in a Genre Novel workshop at a local writer's organization (Lighthouse Writers--good place). My fellow writers are completely baffled by my stuff, but the facilitator (Mario Acevedo, "The Nymphos of Rocky Flats), seems to get it.
The workshop will get me through the first four chapters, and then I'm on my own. If anyone has any advice, I'd be happy to listen.
